I'm a writer who loves making people laugh, think, or hit the buzzer.

For the past two decades I've written across television, advertising, game shows, live comedy, and digital media. I've written jokes for Robert Smigel and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, game questions for The $100,000 Pyramid, Hollywood Squares, Cash Cab, and Paid Off with Michael Torpey, and advertising campaigns for brands including Swiffer, Dawn, Cascade, Wendy's, Charmin, and Bounty.

My advertising work has earned Addy Awards and a Creativity Online Pick of the Day, while my television career has included writing for ABC, CBS, Fox, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, and NBC. Along the way I've been a contributing writer for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, co-executive producer of Verizon Hearst's comedy channel Seriously.TV, and a writer on everything from nationally syndicated radio to comedy pilots and podcasts.

Whether I'm writing an ad campaign, a roast joke, a game show clue, or a comedy sketch, I'm chasing the same thing: a smart idea delivered with clarity, surprise, and great timing.

The best part of the job is that every project presents a different puzzle. Some need a joke that works in three seconds. Others need a campaign that lives for years. Either way, I love figuring out the funniest, smartest way to connect with an audience.
